Abstract

The line of sight detector using TeraFETs operating as THz spectrometers is simulated with the validated THz SPICE unified charge control model for Si MOSFETs. The model uses the nonlinear transmission line of the segmented channel resistances, capacitances and Drude inductances. The THz spectrometers oriented in different directions give different response maps with respect to the angles of the incident THz radiation. Combining these response maps allows for the determination of the THz radiation angles and therefore the line of sight detection.
