Abstract

The light-by-light contribution from the lightest neutral pseudoscalar mesons to the anomalous magnetic moment of muon is calculated in the framework nonlocal SU ( 3 ) × SU ( 3 ) quark model. The model is based on four-quark interaction of the Nambu-Jona-Lasinio type and t‘Hooft six-quark interaction. Full kinematic dependencies of vertices with off-shell mesons in the light-by-light scattering amplitude is taken into account. As a result of that dependence the pseudoscalar contribution a μ PS , LbL = ( 5.85 ± 0.87 ) ⋅ 10 − 10 is smaller then most of previous estimates. The comparison with the results of other models is performed.
