Abstract

The fluorescence lifetime of some rovibrational levels of the B0 u + state of Te 2 has been measured using a delayed coincidence technique. By irradiation of a natural sample with selected multimode lines of a pulsed Ar ion laser, different isotopomer molecules of Te 2 were excited. Zero-pressure radiative fluorescence lifetimes and total relaxation cross-sections were obtained. Coincidences and discrepancies with other reported values are discussed.
