Abstract
Touting the value of geophysics is an important function of SEG and should also occupy the attention of most geophysicists. Exploration managers generally don't seek technology on which they can spend money; rather, they seek ways to enhance exploration success and are willing to use technology if they perceive it to be cost-effective. Each of us should assume responsibility for demonstrating the benefits of geophysical technology to those making exploration decisions.
