Abstract

The Angelo Bruno Business Library at The University of Alabama is a collaborator in a University outreach project, the Alabama Entrepreneurial Research Network (AERN). Centered in the Culverhouse College of Commerce and Business Administration, the purpose of AERN is to support entrepreneurship and small business development in rural, economically impoverished counties in central and south Alabama. AERN provides computing resources and support, business information resources, and training for the staff in the partner chambers of commerce and industrial development authorities as well as for the public. The Library's support of AERN is focused on on-site training and the development and maintenance of the AERN web site.
