  • The authors have made an excellent attempt to analyse the current status of the Assam Accord critically

  • While making an extensive attempt to study the process of Assembly Election held recently in Assam; the authors made a detailed analysis on how some section of people tried to derive personal gains and became leaders overnight by taking advantage of the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), 20192 protest (Pulla et al, 2020) that took place in Guwahati in December 2019, to climb on the shoulders of vast mass to get into their respective political space at the time of ensuing Assembly poll in Assam

  • Article reviewed the very fact that it was Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma, the present Chief Minister of Assam who as Health and Education Minister, during the previous regime took people-oriented many valuable steps for building up many new medical colleges in Assam and conducting Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) exam in a very fair manner to enable meritorious candidates to secure a good teaching job
