Abstract

Recently Kagan et al. (1973) proposed a modified approach to the analysis of time-dose relationships in radiation therapy. According to these authors, the Strandqvist and Ellis type of formulae could be interpreted as curves (straight lines in log-log coordinates) which best separate points of successful outcome from points representing failure on time-dose plots of clinical data.
