Abstract

Abstract Describes the rocks associated with two periods of igneous activity distinguished in the Azgour area in the Atlas mountains, Morocco--Cambrian lavas, now metamorphosed, and granites of a Hercynian (late Paleozoic) batholith--and discusses the mineralization (molybdenite, chalcopyrite, and minor pyrite) of the area, concluding that it was postgranitic or genetically related with the final stage of igneous activity.
