Abstract

We consider the problem of estimation in infinite dimensions and of the control of systems on homogeneous space in finite and infinite dimensions. Firstly we analyze an infinite-dimensional estimation problem via Morse theory. Secondly we show how symplectic methods can be used to analyze controllability of a system on a symplectic homogeneous space in finite and infinite dimensions.
