The early years sector is feeling the pressures of top-down school readiness approaches more than ever before due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic on children's lives. Dr Sue Allingham shares her reflections on the various current discourses of the pressures on both children and educators, as well as some reassuring thoughts around reminding ourselves that the Statutory Framework is our friend here.
