Abstract

As a junior undergraduate student, I transferred to a private liberal arts college. When I was sitting in the upper‐class transfer students’ orientation, a young man who introduced himself to me as Charlie said, “See the man at the stage with the grey suit? When he turns around, he's going to be wearing a bow tie.” Well, Charlie was right. I later found out that Dr. Joe always wore bow ties.
