Abstract

By using a coating process, so-called substrate induced coagulation (SIC), thin layer electrodes of defined thickness can be prepared. After a short introduction in the process itself, first results with the electrode material Li 4Ti 5O 12 are presented. Future application areas and the advantages of electrodes made by the SIC process are discussed.
