Abstract
The nucleon magnetic moments are computed in lattice QCD in the quenched approximation with Monte Carlo techniques. As a by-product, the magnetic moment of the ${\ensuremath{\Omega}}^{\ensuremath{-}}$ is also calculated. It is found that ${\ensuremath{\mu}}_{p}=2.7\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}1.0$, ${\ensuremath{\mu}}_{n}=\ensuremath{-}1.6\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.5$, ${\ensuremath{\mu}}_{\ensuremath{\Omega}}=\ensuremath{-}1.7\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.6$, in nuclear magnetons, and $\frac{{\ensuremath{\mu}}_{p}}{{\ensuremath{\mu}}_{n}}=\ensuremath{-}1.6\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.2$.
