Abstract

The Ugra National Park is experiencing a landscape museum formation, based on a system of memorial trails. They cover holistic military-historical, and events’ 91 landscape complexes, characterizing the most important objects and episodes of hostilities of 1941–1943: from Soviet bases and a field airfield on the Ugra River to the command post of the Western Front. On the basis of the well-preserved "war relief," archival documents, use of authentic materials, various fortifications are restored in the park and excursion routes are arranged.
