Abstract

Due to the rapid increase in the number of faculties of theology / Islamic sciences, the number of graduate programs providing education in this field has also increased. In this article, it is aimed to make a statistical evaluation of the faculties of Theology/ Islamic sciences and postgraduate programs of philosophy and religious sciences, whose numbers continue to increase day by day. The study consists of three titles. In the first title, the history of the faculties of theology -since its foundation- is mentioned. In the second title, the changes in the departments of philosophy and religious sciences departments were evaluated In the third heading, the numbers of postgraduate education programs in the department of philosophy and religious sciences are compared with those in basic Islamic sciences.
