Abstract

Child sexuality: in education and perversion. This article addresses the question of child sexuality and its psychic elaboration based on the case of a child following both a personal therapy and family consultation in a medico-psychological center. Confronted with a biased maternal revelation of fraternal incest on the part of his father, this child indeed reacted by transferring an adult sexual model in his therapy to the detriment of his own development of childhood fantasies. This gave us the opportunity to take another look at Widlöcher' hypotheses regarding the status of child sexuality: the latter should be approached at the subconscious level as an hallucination of the act and the propping-up as a ‘counterpoint’ between sensori-motor ‘patterns’ and their mnestic treatment, so that the fantasy builds the child sexuality rather than the opposite. This approach supports the hypothesis previously formulated by the author regarding the introjective link in bonding pathologies. It allows the repositioning of the critical question of the ‘opportune moment’ — Kairos — in the therapy and the suggestion of a link between seduction and psychic temporality, as an extension of the Freudian notion of the afterwards. It also questions the place given today to a ‘sex talk’ in education and its link to perversion.
