Abstract
This brief essay is a holistic view of blackness, from when they appear in history and were incorporated into the West (XV - XVI century), their slavery and current discrimination; but with an emphasis on the Greater Caribbean where they have become naturalized, definitively marking the culture of this region. It is also a “ludosofico” exercise, that is, playful but also of knowledge and logos, to do justice to this ethnic group that reminds us so much of the origin of the human species in Africa. From there we all left for all the ends of the planet to populate and diversify. But we are one and sameness, despite external forms. And how much we owe to blacks in these last five centuries and how much they have contributed to the material development of humanity that has wanted to dehumanize it. But the Caribbean has welcomed them and they have known how to contribute their color, their beliefs and their intelligence as fundamental ingredients in the construction of the cosmic race of Vasconselos that has so much intimacy with the sea.
