Abstract

Being part of a nation that was once colonized by those who call themselves as the Western Nations, it has made Indonesia the country into the vortex of a binary opposition colonial heritage. Although the occupation has ended, the stigma of being a colonized people, outsiders, the objects, the parties told, never separated. While Western nations did not invade though still holding the reins of power to his position as occupiers, self, observer, subject, and the narrator was considered superior to the East Nations.
