Abstract
We investigated the kinetics of spinel-formation in the MgO-FeO (Fe2O3)-Al2O3-Cr2O3 system using a petrographic method for determining the width of a layer of interaction products. The magnitude of the apparent activation energy of the process of spinellide formation was 327.99 kJ/mole.
