Abstract

The current education management of Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah has not been able to play a role in preparing the expected graduates. This situation occurs because Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI) does not know what innovations will produce graduates who are professional and can be an example for the ubudiyah and tolerant of differences. This research aims to explore madrasah educational activities in developing local and national content from the perspective of the value chain in achieving multicultural-based educational innovation. This research uses qualitative methods, with a case study approach. This research takes MI Raden Rahmat Mangunan Kabuh, Jombang as the object. Value chain activities implemented in the school provide extra value in the development of local and national content. Cost leadership implemented by the school succeeded in creating 1) quality-based education services at affordable costs, 2) community satisfaction with the motto "Qur'an-based, global and environmental schools," and 3) parents' pride in their children who have high academic achievement abilities, ubudiyah practices, and memorization of the Qur'an. Keywords: Cost leadership, Multicultural-based education innovation, Value Chain Manajemen pendidikan Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah yang ada saat ini belum mampu berperan dalam mempersiapkan lulusan yang diharapkan. Keadaan ini terjadi karena Madrasah Ibtidaiyyah (MI) tidak mengetahui inovasi apa yang akan menghasilkan lulusan yang professional dan bisa menjadi teladan bagi pihak ubudiyah dan toleran terhadap perbedaan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendalami kegiatan pendidikan madrasah dalam mengembangkan konten lokal dan nasional dari perspektif rantai nilai dalam mencapai inovasi pendidikan berbasis multikultural. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif, dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Penelitian ini mengambil MI Raden Rahmat Mangunan Kabuh, Jombang sebagai objek. Kegiatan rantai nilai dilaksanakan di sekolah memberikan nilai ekstra dalam pengembangan konten lokal dan nasional. Kepemimpinan biaya yang dilaksanakan sekolah berhasil menciptakan 1) pelayanan pendidikan berbasis mutu pada biaya terjangkau, 2) kepuasan masyarakat terhadap motto “Sekolah Berbasis Al-Qur’an, global dan lingkungan,” dan 3) kebanggaan orang tua terhadap anaknya yang memiliki kemampuan prestasi akademis yang tinggi, amalan ubudiyah, dan hafal Alquran.
