Abstract
K.D. Ushinsky lived a short but eventful life, each stage of which had a certain significance for the formation of his personality, worldview, scientific and practical pedagogical activity. Based on the biographical method, using little-known letters and other documents and pre-revolutionary materials, a phased analysis of the objective conditions and circumstances that determined the life and professional path of K.D. Ushinsky. Particular emphasis is placed on the mention of those people who had a direct and indirect positive impact in the process of his formation as a person, teacher and scientist.
