Abstract
Studies have shown that those who present with male factor infertility, also tend to have high DNA Fragmentation of raw semen samples. Microfluidic sperm sorting is a sperm selection device shown to reduce DNA fragmentation in sperm samples, leading to improved outcomes for patients using ART. In addition, preimplantation genetic testing (PGT) is often utilized by obtaining a biopsy of a developing embryo to evaluate its genetic composition, giving information on embryo quality to determine which are optimal for transfer.
