Abstract

This work is updating Nathan Katz's annotated bibliography about Indian Jewry which ends in citations earlier than 2005 or so. Any pre-2005 items missing in Professor Katz bibliography have been included here. Jews have lived in the Indian subcontinent for a long time. Jewish traders have a long history of connecting with the Indian west coast people. Judaism is one of the first foreign religions. Though they are a religious minority. They have lived in India without any instances of anti-Semitism, a unique feature of Indian landscape. This work is a part of my literature survey and bibliographies on MINORITY religions and people of India.
