Abstract

A 61-year-old man with a left lung allograft for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis presented with pneumonia, sepsis, and a hemoglobin level of 5.8 g/dL. The early hospital course included episodic maroon-colored stools without source identification on serial endoscopy.
