Abstract
This paper attempts to present the profile of Japanese Language Schools in the Philippines in terms of programs, activities, and student – teacher characteristics. It also clarifies the motivation of students and their reasons for learning Japanese Language. Lastly, it tries to determine the problems and issues and the prospects and vision of Japanese language in the Philippines.
