Abstract

The <italic>Heer Peter Hotton</italic>, Professor in Physick and Botany at <italic>Leyden</italic>, and Fellow of the Royal Society, made me a Visit lately, and discoursing of several things, he desir'd me, that I would examin the <italic>Chelidonium majus</italic>, to wit, whether the Canals or Tubes that bring up the yellow Sap were distinguisht or separated from other Tubes; I comply'd with his request, and imparted to him my poor Observations.
