Abstract
We will present standardized communication strategies and clinical care approaches to caring for youth with somatic symptom and related disorders (SSRDs). Discussion, skill building, and practicing communication strategies will be framed around reviewing recently published national consensus guidelines and will involve in-depth review of 2 institutional models of SSRD care with pediatric consultation-liaison psychiatrists, psychologists, and hospitalists.
