Abstract
Abstract[§151]And if we have seen that the great Prophet of Islam established a state at the time of the genesis and advent of this great faith in the location of the revelation, this has only been for the purpose that the place of the descent of revelation and the initial base of this divine message had to be purified of all the filth of polytheism and ignorance. The purpose was never to: determine and define a particular geopolitical territory as a state for and Islamic country, [§152] make efforts for its welfare and peaceful coexistence and keep it safe from foreign invasion and domestic unrest. Providing and envisaging an objective ethical example for human societies is totally different and distinct from establishing a state, codes of governance and protecting the economic and social interests of citizens. Therefore, it is not befitting for any scholar in political philosophy to consider the community or the virtuous city of the prophet of Islam among other states and consider its leader as a state or national leader.
