This conceptual research article examines the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation as an e-commerce portal, exploring its journey from inception to its current state, and analysing its potential for future growth. The article focuses on the factors that have contributed to the success of IRCTC as an e-commerce portal, as well as the various features and services it offers.
