Abstract
A new catalytic protocol of Ir(III)-catalyzed C(sp2)–H arylation/esterification cascade reaction of acrylic acids with aromatic organoboron reagents has been disclosed herein. A wide range of substrates and coupling partners with excellent functional group tolerance could be suitable for this system. The resulting products containing 2-chloroethyl ester moiety could readily convert C–Cl bonds to C–I, C–N3 bonds, which will provide the possibility of the further application.
