Abstract

When designing the throttle sections of the shut-off and control valves, consisting of groups of holes, the question arises about the choice of the distance between the axes of the spacings. The article presents a numerical simulation of the throttling section of a hydraulic valve using two working media: water and fluid PGV . The dependences of the jet lengths on the center-to-center distance are presented. An experimental study of the dependence of the hydrodynamic noise on the center distance between the spacings was also carried out.
