Abstract

Background: Mitochondrial Permeability Transition Pore (mPTP) is considered to be the end-point target of cardioprotection. GSK3β is an upstream of mPTP, however their interaction remains elusive. Purpose: To investigate the infarct size (IS) limitation properties of GSK3β inhibitors alone or in combination with Cyclosporine (CsA) and the possible interaction between mPTP and GSK3β.
