Abstract

The paper presents the results of experimental studies of the destruction of fillers of polymer composite materials (PCM) with the control of acoustic emission (AE) signal parameters. As object of research were considered silica filaments К11С6-180, carbon filaments UKN-M-12K-1-7-380 and aramid technical fiber Rusar-С600 type А. Based on the experimental data obtained, acoustic emission portraits of the destruction processes of various types of PCM fillers were obtained. This allows, when loading a structure made of PCM with AE control, to fix the destruction of the filler, and, consequently, to increase the reliability and safety of operation of products made of PCM.
