Abstract

Various non-linear and linear properties of Sb-doped Ge-Se-Te glasses for optoelectronic applications are investigated in present paper. The linear refractive index of prepared samples was obtained by reflectance spectra. Wemple – Di Domenico (WDD) single oscillator model was used for determination of refractive index dispersion and it was also used for extrapolating static refractive index. Optical conductivity and dielectric constants were obtained using linear refractive index, absorption and extinction coefficients. Volume energy (VELF) and surface energy loss (SELF) were also obtained for prepared samples. Nonlinear response of system under investigations are determined by different empirical and semi-empirical formula developed by different researchers. Nonlinear response of refractive index was investigated by the formula proposed by Fournier and Snitzer. The third order susceptibility of the prepared samples were investigated by Tichy and Ticha formulation. Different optical parameters and thermal parameters are investigated for their behavioral change by Sb addition.
