The topics discussed included Energy Saving Technologies, Energy Storage Technologies, Thermal and Power Engineering, Electrical Automation and Power Engineering, Smart Grid / Power IC, Power Machinery and Engineering, etc.The NESEE conferences in the past have proven to be an important forum at which energy scientists, chemists, electrical specialists brought together a critical mass of thoughts, findings and considerations and have been endorsed by many international and national energy and electrical organizations and publishers. We hope that this NESEE 2022 conference has been a useful contribution to the fields of new energy and electrical engineering, and that it may encourage the organization of subsequent NESEE conferences on these diverse, challenging and fascinating fields.Last but not the least is our acknowledgement. We would like to thank all the participants, especially those who contributed speeches, posters and manuscripts, for making NESEE 2022 such an exciting and memorable conference. We thank the Technical Program Committee members, for putting together an outstanding program. We gratefully acknowledge the support of editors and members of the Journal of Physics: Conference Series, for their efforts in making this volume published. The Committee of NESEE 2022List of Committee Member is available in this Pdf.

Introduction to Electrical and Computer Engineering, EECE 200, is a required course for all first year students majoring either in Computer and Communications Engineering (CCE) or in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department of the American University of Beirut (AUB). The objectives of this course are to introduce CCE and ECE students to the various fields in electrical and computer engineering and to the basic computer tools and laboratory instruments, in addition to giving them the opportunity to participate in a group engineering project early in their studies. This paper outlines one of the experiments in which, an inventive approach is outlined where several engineering software tools are introduced in a lab experiment with an objective of illustrating the technical computing environment such as PSPICE and MATLAB. They can be used to integrate computation, visualization, and programming environment in solving circuitry problems. Students' feedback is solicited in addition to faculty members teaching introductory courses in circuits, electronics and systems. Feedbacks received from all is analyzed and reported.

It is a great pleasure to welcome you to the 7th International Conference on Electrical Engineering, Control and Robotics (EECR 2021), which will be held during January 21-23, 2021 in full virtual style. The safety and well-being of participants is always of paramount importance. This year, considering the COVID-19 pandemic and the severe travel restrictions worldwide, after careful consideration and following some participants’ suggestions, the organizing committees decided to convert EECR 2021 into a fully virtual conference. It has been a very difficult decision, but it has also given to all of us an opportunity to innovate and to test a new style of conference in a safer and convenient way in this special period. We hope EECR 2021 can provide an online platform for every participant to communicate and to share ideas about electrical engineering, control and robotics. The volume includes 53 selected papers which were submitted to the conference from universities, research institutes and industries. Much of the credit of the success of the conference is due to topic coordinators who have devoted their expertise and experience in promoting and in general co-ordination of the activities for the organization and operation of the conference. The coordinators of various session topics have devoted a considerable time and energy in soliciting papers from relevant researchers for presentation at the conference. On behalf of the Organizing Committee, we wish to thank all the keynote speakers and authors of selected papers for their outstanding contributions. We would also like to thank members of the organizing committee, anonymous reviewers and volunteers for their great efforts. Without their contribution, dedication and commitment, we would not have achieved so much.We hope this success can develop into persistent success in future years, involving attendees and speakers from all corners of the globe and all countries. And we believe with the strong support of all participants, professors, scholars, etc., this conference will be more distinctive. We sincerely hope you have an excellent time during EECR 2021. Thank you all for your efforts to make this conference a success.List of Virtual Disclaimer, Conference Committee, Advisory Committee, Conference Chairs, Conference Co-Chair, Program Chairs, TPC Advisory Committee, Local Organizing Committee, Technical Committees are available in the pdf

With the decrease in France of the number of students in the field of electrical engineering and information processing, that is unfortunately more and more common in Europe, several French Institutions are trying to build remote formations in Asia-Pacific region. This paper deals with the setup of a new master degree in the field of electrical and information engineering with two specialties, microelectronics and signal and image processing. It is a double diploma between South-East University (SEU) at Nanjing (China) and the University of Rennes 1, at Rennes (France), fully compatible with the Bologna process rules more especially in terms of ECTS. In this paper, some details on the structure and on the specific points that were solved are described and commented. In particular, the pedagogical program was built on the bases of the reciprocal competencies in order to take at the maximum the benefit of skills available on each side.
