Abstract
The main knowledge and the development phases of techniques theories in information security area are generally introduced. In the first part, the concepts of information security, information war and requirements of information security are introduced. Then, the main security problems about hardware layer, operation system layer, computer network layer, database system layer and application layer are simply presented by the hierarchy-partition view; and main methods and ways used in information war are stated by the phase-partition view. In the second part, the contents about three development phases of information security concepts are discussed.
