Abstract
As previosly noted, the terms ‘fuzzy information retrieval’ and ‘fuzzy retrieval’ used throughout this monograph mean theory and methods of information retrieval based on fuzzy sets. They do not imply, in general, that the sources of information are themselves fuzzy.
