Abstract

A case of cystic lesion within the sacrum, commonly described as “occult intrasacral meningocele,” is presented. A critical comparison with similar cystic lesions elsewhere in the spinal column suggests that intrasacral meningocele represents a part of a more general disorder, the spinal extradural arachnoid cyst.
