Abstract
This paper illustrates the vast applications of IoT technology withing the drinking water pumping and distribution network. For a much better management of one of the most important global resource, a proper monitoring protocol needs to be implemented, and adapted to facilitate this option High speed data acquisition and transfer is key to better understand what the true situation is underground, within the water distribution network. Starting from the quality and quantity sensors, up to the datalogging and information transfer equipment, this paper shows the flux of information from data to decision.
