Abstract
The article analyzes the political and legal aspects of activity of the international and national credit rating agencies in the context of issues of optimizing the management of financial risks in Ukraine according to the “Basel recommendations”. The article formulates the problem of formation and development of Ukrainian national rating system and its interaction with European and international rating system.
