It is involved in the signaltransduction by combining to a heterodimeric type Ⅰ cytokine receptor composed of IL-31 receptor A (IL-31 RA)and oncostatin M receptor (OSMR). The levels of IL-31 and its receptors' mRNA are different in different tis-sue and conditions. Its biological activity is related to the skin physiology and inflammatory cell recruitment. Itis play an importment role in the occurrence and development of atopic skin inflammation. Key words: Interleukin 31 ; Receptor; Atopic dermatitis
