Abstract
Interfaces has instituted a new “Editor-in-Chief” award to recognize outstanding reviewers. The award recognizes reviewers for their sustained contributions to the journal by submitting timely, high-quality reviews that help authors improve their papers. Interfaces has selected Assistant Professor Burcu Balçik, Özyeğin University, and Lt. Col. Michael Martinez, United States Air Force, to receive the first annual Outstanding Reviewer Award for their exceptional services to the journal. The award was announced at the Interfaces Editorial Board meeting during the 2011 INFORMS annual meeting in Charlotte, North Carolina.
