Abstract
This report is focused on the opportunities of using high energy femtosecond laser radiation for metal nano-structuring and subsequent effective X-ray emission from self-produced nano-structures. We consider the interaction of high energy high repetition rate femtosecond laser pulses from Coherent Astrella Ultrafast Ti:Sapphire Amplifier with shaped copper targets and effective generation of X-ray radiation.
