Abstract
Assessment is crucial in the academe. The Department of Education (DepEd) has adopted different formative and summative assessment tools but continuously encouraging teachers to innovate school-based projects that could improve the teaching-learning process. The use of integrative and collaborative assessments is beneficial to both learners and students. Evaluations can be drawn to improve the student performance at same time as a basis to curriculum change. Interdisciplinary academic learning is one of the main advantages of integrative and collaborative assessment. This is to provide realization to students on how learning process can be meaningful in the interplay of different subject areas within or across the curriculum.
