The study employs a descriptive qualitative method aimed at systematically describing and analyzing the planning, implementation, and evaluation of Islamic religious education at the kindergarten. Data were collected through classroom observations, documentation review, and in-depth interviews with teachers and school administrators. The findings reveal that learning management begins with careful planning aligned with themes, learning objectives, basic competencies, and measurable indicators. Classroom organization, including learning space arrangement and seating design, supports active engagement. Instructional strategies include lectures, dialogic interaction, and demonstrations. Islam-based Early Childhood Education (PAUD) plays a crucial role in shaping children's character and identity by integrating Islamic values with local culture. This study aims to analyze how Islamic values and local culture are incorporated into the PAUD curriculum, identify implementation strategies, and examine the challenges and opportunities involved. Additionally, it explores the impact of this integration on children's character and identity development while providing recommendations for educators and policymakers to enhance the effectiveness of Islam-based early childhood education. This research employs a literature study method, analyzing various sources related to the PAUD curriculum, Islamic values, and local culture. The data analysis approach includes data reduction, classification, and interpretation. The findings indicate that integrating Islamic values such as tawhid, noble character, and worship with local cultural values such as community cooperation (gotong royong), love for the homeland, and mutual respect can create a holistic and contextual curriculum. This curriculum not only supports children's intellectual development but also fosters strong character and a deep sense of identity. However, challenges arise in aligning local cultural values with Islamic teachings and addressing resource limitations, particularly among educators who may not fully grasp the concept of this integration. Despite these challenges, the integration of Islamic values and local culture positively impacts children's character development and strengthens community participation in the educational process. To address these challenges, this study recommends developing a more flexible curriculum and enhancing educator capacity. These efforts will contribute to producing a generation that is intelligent, of noble character, and deeply rooted in its cultural identity.

Islamic character education in early childhood has an important role in shaping children's morals and personality in accordance with Islamic values. This service activity aims to develop Islamic character in early childhood through the visual storytelling method at PAUD Plamboyan, West Karawang District. The method used is the Asset-Based Community Development (ABCD) approach, which emphasizes the use of local assets and active community participation in every stage of activities. This program includes storytelling skills training for educators, making Islamic visual props, as well as regular storytelling sessions involving children and parents. The results of the activities show an increase in understanding and internalization of Islamic values in children, such as honesty, discipline and caring, which is reflected in changes in their daily behavior. Apart from that, a new institution was formed in the community, namely a commitment from the school and parents to continue the storytelling method independently. The implication of this activity is increasing community awareness of the importance of collaborative Islamic character education between schools and families. The participation of educators as local leaders in this program also strengthens the sustainability and future development of the program. It is hoped that this activity can become a model for other institutions in implementing Islamic character education through innovative and participatory methods.

According to Law No. 20 of 2003, a curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding the objectives, content and learning materials, as well as the methods used as guidelines for organizing activities to achieve certain educational goals. The curriculum's function in education is to create lesson plans, design and compile learning materials and objectives, as well as to ensure that learning is carried out effectively. To make learning effective, it is necessary to have the best formula in terms of curriculum content and substance. It will be relatively simple to implement when the curriculum's content and substance are easily digested by teachers and students. Islamic religious education has been a subject in every school, so its existence will be considerably complex, particularly on the material side and adjusting to the curriculum that has been applied. The Curriculum 2013 is a competency-based and character-based curriculum that is expected to improve learning and educational outcomes that are precisely targeted to students' character and morality, knowledge, personality, and implementation in everyday life. The 2013 curriculum includes at least three Islamic education values: Morals, Adab, and Exemplary. The Merdeka Curriculum is a response to the Covid-19 pandemic's missing lessons, often known as loss learning. Teachers have the freedom to select numerous teaching tools so that learning can be adapted to students' learning needs and interests. Projects to enhance Pancasila student profile success are designed based on government-determined themes. The project is not directed to achieving certain learning achievement targets, so it is not tied to subject content. Islamic education is available in both public and private schools.
