Abstract

Abstract The Continuous Integraph has been used to trace the orbits of an electron oscillating within the filament-plate space of a three-electrode vacuum tube, such oscillations being presumably the origin of the Barkhausen-Kurz Effect. The effects of space-charge, initial velocity of emission, and amplitude of oscillations are considered. The results check and extend those of Kapzov found by other methods.
