Abstract

By altering the integrable Gross-Neveu model, the author finds several new integrable quantum field theories in 1+1 dimensions. When the number of fields is large, Cooper pairing is found, which makes these theories exactly solvable toy models for color superconductivity in quantum chromodynamics.
