Abstract

This study aims to describe, know and analyze the value of tolerance through Islamic Religious Education for students. With such a large number of students, where each child has different characteristics from one another, in these differences there is sometimes a lack of respect for fellow friends or commonly called bullying friends, and because adolescence and puberty for the age of a student wants to express himself through various ways, sometimes it is still unstable, one of which is truancy during class hours. This study used a qualitative method, in which documents were obtained based on the results of interviews, observations, and documentation. Which were analyzed by document reduction, document presentation, drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate that the students' tasamuh scores are in the good category, and the strategies carried out by the teacher use models such as exemplary, habituation, motivation, communication and evaluation to instill tolerance values in students at Al Ma'arif Singosari Islamic High School.
