This study discusses Instagram as a promotional medium in Perpustakaan UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta. This promotion is a tool to introduce the facilities, services, collections and activities in the library so that they are used effectively and efficiently by users. The aim of this research is to explain the use of Instagram as a promotional medium in libraries. Qualitative methods in research are used to reveal Instagram as a promotional medium using qualitative descriptive techniques. Data collection techniques include documentation, observation and interviews, while presenting the data is by drawing conclusions. The results of this study show that Instagram is successful as a promotional medium in Perpustakaan UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta which is upload consistency, follower bonding, library gate, quizzes and rewards, library service procedures, online learning, and documentation of library activities.
