Abstract

By fusion of superhydrophobic surface with transistor‐inspired architecture for high‐frequency water kinetic energy harvesting, we report the design of a superhydrophobic surface‐based droplet electricity generator, which allows for timely water droplet shedding at high impact frequency without the formation of unwanted liquid film and is capable of efficient electrical energy harvesting without compromising output performance. This work represents Harvesting energy from high‐frequency impinging water droplets by a droplet‐based electricity generator. image
